How to choose air cleaner & filter?
The air cleaner & filter is a maintenance part that needs to be replaced frequently in the daily maintenance of a car, and it is also one of the most critical and core maintenance parts. The air cleaner & filter is equivalent to the mask of the engine, and its function is the same as that of the mask for people.
air cleaner & filters are divided into two types: paper and oil bath. There are more oil baths for trucks. Cars generally use paper air cleaner & filters, which are mainly composed of a filter element and a casing. The filter element is a paper filter material that bears the air cleaner & filtering work, and the casing is a rubber or plastic frame that provides necessary protection and fixation for the filter element. The shape of the air cleaner & filter is rectangular, cylindrical, irregular, etc.
How to choose air cleaner & filter?
Check the appearance:
First look at whether the appearance is exquisite workmanship? Is the shape neat and smooth? Is the surface of the filter element smooth and flat? Secondly, look at the number of wrinkles. The more the number, the larger the filter area and the higher the filtration efficiency. Then look at the wrinkle depth, the deeper the wrinkle, the larger the filter area and the greater the dust holding capacity.
Check The Light Transmittance:
Look at the air cleaner & filter at the sun to see if the light transmission of the filter element is even? Is the light transmittance good? The uniform light transmission and good light transmission indicate that the filter paper has good filtration accuracy and air permeability, and the air intake resistance of the filter element is small.
