China Wholesale Air Filter Factories – SK-1161AB – Qiangsheng Detail:
How often should a commercial vehicle filter be replaced?
Generally speaking, the filter element of commercial vehicles is replaced every 10,000 kilometers and 16 months. Of course, the air filter maintenance cycle of different brands is not exactly the same. The specific cycle can be replaced according to the requirements of the automobile manufacturer and the development of its own use. Environment and other factors make a specific working time arrangement. For example, if the car is used in severe haze, it is best to replace it every 3 months.
Filtration requirements of heavy truck filter element for filter:
1. High precision filtration technology: filter out the larger particles.
2. High efficiency of filtration technology: reduce the number of particles in the filter.
3. Prevent the problem of early wear and tear of the engine work and prevent the damage of the air mass flowmeter.
4. Low differential pressure ensures the best air-fuel ratio and reduces filtration loss.
5. Commercial vehicle filter element has large filtering area, high ash capacity and long service life.
6. Small installation space and compact structure design.
7. High wet stiffness to prevent the air filter element from being deflated and causing the safety filter element to be broken down.
Commercial vehicle filter replacement steps
The first step is to open an engine compartment cover and confirm the position of the filter element of the heavy truck. The air filter is generally located on the left side of the engine compartment, that is, the space above the left front wheel. You can see a square plastic black box, and the filter element is installed in the in. Simply lift up two different metal clips and lift up the entire air filter cover.
In the second step, remove the air filter element and check for more dust. The end of the filter element can be tapped lightly or the dust on the filter element can be cleaned with compressed air from the inside out. Do not rinse the filter element with tap water. For example, to check the serious blockage of the Jiefang air filter, you need to replace the new filter.
The third step is to thoroughly clean the heavy-duty filter box after the air filter has been disposed of. There will be a lot of dust under the air filter, which is what causes the loss of engine power. The location of the filter, the Jiefang air filter is generally located on the left side of the engine compartment, that is, above the left front wheel. By seeing such a square plastic black box, the filter element is installed inside. Fix individual models of commercial vehicle filter elements with screws. At this time, you need to select a suitable screwdriver to unscrew the screws on the air filter.
