Contaminants such as dust will cause wear and tear on the engine and seriously affect the performance of the engine.
For every liter of fuel consumed by a new diesel engine, 15,000 liters of air are needed.

As the pollutants filtered by the air filter continue to increase, its flow resistance (the degree of clogging) also continues to increase.
As the flow resistance continues to increase, it becomes more difficult for the engine to inhale the required air.
This will cause a decrease in engine power and increase fuel consumption.
Generally speaking, dust is the most common pollutant, but different working environments require different air filtration solutions.
Marine air filters are usually not affected by high concentrations of dust, but are affected by salt-rich and humid air.
At the other extreme, construction, agriculture, and mining equipment are often exposed to high-intensity dust and smoke.
The new air system generally includes: pre-filter, rain cover, resistance indicator, pipe/duct, air filter assembly, filter element.
The main function of the safety filter element is to prevent dust from entering when the main filter element is replaced.
The safety filter element needs to be replaced every 3 times the main filter element is replaced.
