The rated air flow of the air filter must be greater than the air flow of the engine at the rated speed and rated power, that is, the maximum intake air volume of the engine. At the same time, under the premise of the installation space, a large-capacity and high-flow air filter should be appropriately used, which will help reduce the resistance of the filter, increase the dust storage capacity and prolong the maintenance period.
The maximum intake air volume of the engine at rated speed and rated load is related to the following factors:
1) The displacement of the engine;
2) The rated speed of the engine;
3) The intake form mode of the engine. Due to the action of the supercharger, the intake air volume of the supercharged engine is much larger than that of the naturally aspirated type;
4) The rated power of the supercharged model. The higher the degree of supercharging or the use of supercharged intercooling, the greater the rated power of the engine and the larger the intake air volume.

Selection and use of air filters for SANY excavators
1) The filter element of the air filter must be cleaned and inspected every 8000 kilometers. When cleaning the air filter element, first tap the end face of the filter element on the flat plate, and use compressed air to blow out from the inside of the filter element.
2) If the car is equipped with a filter blockage alarm, when the indicator light is on, the filter element must be cleaned in time.
3) The filter element of the air filter must be replaced every 48,000 kilometers.
4) Clean the dust bag frequently, do not allow too much dust in the dust pan.
5) If it is in a dusty area, the cycle of cleaning the filter element and replacing the filter element should be shortened according to the situation.
